The UNHRC was established by the UN General Assembly on March 15, 2006 (by resolution A/RES/60/251) to replace the UN Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR, herein CHR) that had been strongly criticized for allowing countries with poor human rights records to be members

Greetings Potential Delegates!
My name is Zakwan Hazarvi and i will be serving as your Chair of UNHRC in this edition of EAIMUN’19. As far as my studies are concerned, I am pursuing my comparative studies of English and Islamic Law from International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan.
I am into MUNs from past few years and also a part of ECs of many MUNs. It’s my second time in Kabul, I was too impressed by the delegates last time and i am expecting much from delegates this year as well!!!
I would recommend all the delegates to research well and stick to your stances while remaining confident. This will be the best platform where you can show your diplomacy skills!
Do go through the study guides it will help you a lot in understanding your stances and making the points. In last I would suggest you to not to debate for the awards, make it your passion.
Hoping to see you all soon at MUN.
